I must admit initially I was put off by his login name... But I too have found him to be rather clean an articulate.

I'm pretty sure "The Critic" means generous, helpful and very good natured.
In Silicon Valley we have a term, "KSA", or Knowledge, Skills and Abilities. Maybe that's it?
