I'm using mobil one 5-20 in my focus with 54,000 on it. Motor runs fine and would like to know if any additive would be necessary for added protection?? Sorry guys I cought the BITOG bug!!

You might want to use the 'search' function and look around. There's no end to the things bitog people have tried. This site likes Auto-RX, Lube Control, Fuel Power and others as well. Some of the fun of choosing to use or not use something is the research you can do on this site alone. Then you can start your own thread and you will get lots of comments and information. In some cases the owners of the companies contribute, along with real tribologists, chemists, engineers, mechanics, technical sales people and users. This can lead to a lot of bad habits, like spending Sunday night, ducking the news and lurking on bitog.
