I get my Mobil 1 from W/M during Rollbacks.....$22/jug....ideally when the $2/qt rebates are being offered. I haven't paid more than around $12.88/jug net for Mobil 1 over the past 3 yrs.

The FUG's you can get for $4-$6 each buying then in 6 packs on line from various suppliers. So under $20 net for oil and filters. I have stock for another couple of years.

You can get a $17 rebate from EM for buying M1 oil and filter combos, typically. And yes it applies to AAP, despite your bizarre Wal-Mart fanboi postings in another thread...

I like to go when there are less "Jabba the Hut" types driving around on those scooter carts.

When my wife recently had knee surgery those electric carts worked very well for her.

Lucky enough to have a walmart nearby that is between 2 larger cities on highway and almost no one goes to it. Always plenty of parking and easy in and out. Can even go black friday and get in and out. Everyone goes to the other areas with more options. It is easily the cleanest and nicest Walmart I have been in and very well stocked/organized. The closest Walmart to it is always in disarray packed with Jabbas and 50 people in a line with 2-3 carts each. Do they really need that much. Afraid someone else might get something??

I have scratched Wally off the list of stores that deserve my business. When Sam was alive, he was hard core that RV's and commercial trucks could park at all Walmart stores. In recent times, Walmart in some locations has hired third parties to come in and tire boot any commercial truck and drive off RV's. The driver may just be inside shopping. But no notice, no warning on the boot. And it costs $500-$600 to remove the boot. The latest one I heard of what a couple of weeks ago at a Walmart in Springfield, IL.

I live rural. When rural roads are bad, I would leave my semi trailer behind a local Walmart, out of the way of everyone, not blocking docks and other areas. Only on weekend and usually less than 40 hrs. Been doing it for years. Previous manager had no issues. Now corporate has a fit with that.

Bad enough that Walmart DC's treat truck drivers with disdain, now this. So I will never go into a Walmart store again. I can find everything I need elsewhere. The treat drivers bad enough that they are now also having to jump thru hoops to get drivers for their own fleet trucks. They used to be able to just pick the cream of applicants. Now they have to beat the weeds for applicants just like all the major fleets.

It was a joke, both his comment and mine.

There used to be a thing called politeness. More and more people don't exhibit it anymore.

Insulting others has become common in our society. Typewriter tigers.

People may have been polite in person but back in the good old days you pine for there were no electric wheelchairs, stores weren't handicapable accessible, there was no store provided chair and you never saw anyone on a wheelchair at any store.

As a kid I remember It was an event at our church when a bunch of guys lifted someone on a wheelchair up the steps into the sanctuary .

It was the first time I ever saw one in person.

I can go on and on about BS that happened in the good ol polite days.

So the time you pine for may not have been as great as you think.

I think the appearance of civility then was because of the lack of keyboard courage.
Behind the scenes things were likely worse you just usually didn't find out

Maybe you missed the thread title of "Is there a better day to shop for oil at Walmart" because you don't even mention the word "oil" a single time in your silly rant. Did you mean to create a new thread in the General and off-topic sub-forum ?

Nope. The topic "is there a better day to shop for oil at Walmart". I basically was saying in a round about way that, for me, there is never a good day to shop for oil or anything else at Walmart. Guess in your haste you didn't pause long enough to figure that out.

I do think you are correct in last time things were hidden a lot at times...like FDR being crippled...
True.

Whether anyone likes it or not... Typing stuff can be a very difficult way to communicate with one another. It is very hard in fact.

Keyboard courage .. no.

This is quite funny. For good reason.
