A pink Hummer limo was seen driving through town today.

Pink is in Sydney at the moment. Bathurst races are on this weekend. To get from Sydney to Bathurst, you have to drive through our town.

The average mug who's going to the races puts a temporary transport slip on an unregistered caravan (legally, it's supposed to drag the van to it's new home, or an inspection station), with the floor cut out, and packed with cases of beer (Bathurst only allows 1 case per person per day), tents, eskies, lounges, and occasionally beds.

Maybe I shouldn't have turned down the free G.A. tickets from Castrol.

Bathurst is this weekend? Excellent. Watched it last year and it was one of the best races I've ever watched. I hate to say it, but I hope DW does the play by play for Speed again.

It isn't live on Speed this year. They are showing it on the 14th I think on a 2 hour highlights show. I will have to do like in previous years and find a HD feed online.

The last 10 laps were great, but the rest of the race was a bit boring. Watched the first couple of hours, took the kayak around one of the lakes and then watched the last couple of hours.

Casey Stoner was a spectator too - I wonder if we'll see him have a drive when he retires after this season ?

Gardner was a bit like Radisich - if someone spun out, they were the next around the corner...and bang! I hope Casey doesn't start blaming his crew if he doesn't win his first race. The best rider on the planet, but the fanbase thinks he's a moaner.
