Is my oil temp too low?

Every time I drive a vehicle with an oil temp gauge I get close to the same correlation and temperatures and responses to pushing the vehicle. As soon as you stop pushing it temperature begins dropping to 20-30 below coolant. This doesn’t mean the oil doesn’t experience flash temperatures that remove water and fuel when the sump is this temperature. Also consider when easing up on the throttle the crankcase is basically under vacuum lowering the flashpoints.

This is my first time with an oil temp gauge so I am just learning how things are. I figured it would be similar to h2o and just like stay there. I was wrong.

I might put one in of my more regular cars for fun.

Oil temp will follow rpm basically. Highway driving will yield higher oil temps than around town. Mine will drop quickly when I get off the highway or back off on track. AutoX never raised it much...45 seconds of sending it doesnt do much ahaha.

So today I saw a high of 190-195 initially after a run. It may of gone higher but if it did it was only a for a moment. Then it would come immediately down. Id say its pretty good and I see no more need to be concerned. Today was also worse case scenario weather wise for racing temps in the mid 90s.

195? That's really low.
