Like the title says.

I have a 2020 Promaster 2500 which has Mopar Red. I was talking to a buddy, and told him I thought it was just Dexclone. He thought the Mopar Red was different.

Now I wonder....

I believe it meets the same specifications as Dexcool but it doesn't necessarily mean it is an exact formula. If you look on Dexcool products such as Zerex it claims it is compatible in Chrysler 2013+

I don't recommend mixing even if it is compatible.

I mix dexcool with ram and jeep coolants and never had issues. My thinking is the coolant and axle fluids are made by the same suppliers.

No, it was red from the factory.

Nevertheless, it got flushed out and Peak 10x installed after the radiator started leaking at 2 years old and 35,000 miles.

It's all flushed out, after thus happened.

Whatever coolant your car came with, that is what you should use. Here is my take on this, you can play around with different oil viscosities, use Euro Oil or whatever Walmart sells as far as oil. It is not worth playing games with Coolant because the cost is to high if something goes wrong.

I had a friend put in a certain Transmission fluid that was not speced for his Chrysler rebuilt trans, and it failed later on, of course there could have been other things going on. This Mopar Coolant is good for something like 10 years or 150K, stick with it and do not overthink this. It is not like there is a big price difference between what you are using and Dexclone.
