hey all, trying to find the best restoration kit for my hazed up headlights
https://www.kbs-coatings.com/headlight-restore-kit.html
KBS coatings make a headlight restore kit which has been out for many years and some lighting experts seem to really recommend it. It comes with an abrasive pad, cleaner solution, and then clear coat compound / solution that you apply at the end with a brush that hardens into a diamondlike hardness and clarity. its called there diamondfinish clear and its supposed to be a amazing tough and strong clear coat that is durable
the idea makes sense, cleaner and abrasive to get all the gunk and oxidation off, then a sealant/compound/product that is like a clear coat that hardens to seal and uv protect it for ages
just curious if this is still the best kit to use for 2024 is is there any other good ones? sylvania seems to make a new kit that also follows the same type of protocol however the last sealent step seems easier to do and 'thinner' per say vs with the kbs its a bit more difficult but it visually looks more of like a thicker solution and stronger final coating but then again i can only judge based on my eye and don't know which is is better on a molecular level.
thanks!
