[censored] is an electric kettle? I guess we don't.
I don't know anyone that uses one. My kettle sits on the gas stove.
We have a SS electric. Works nice. But we use one on the gas stove as well.

I have one of those expensive Japanese jobs that keeps water hot all day long and dispenses it when you want it. Don't use it much, who needs hot water 24/7?

I have a $15 plastic one I use to make hot water for oatmeal and tea.
I use one, but mainly because I got used to using one when I was living in Europe.
I use one, but that's a homage to my Asian tradition.
Most American that want hot water use microwave instead of a kettle. Usually you have to go to an Asian supermarket to buy one, and they aren't cheap ($60-200) depends on quality.

I have one of those as well. It uses less than $2 in electricity per month, while keeping water hot 24/7.

I don't drink much tea at all, but it's very handy to use with a french press for making coffee.
