Is it Safe to Use??

Hot Water from you hot water heater to wash your car in the winter time. Its so cold out and thought it would be much easier to use hot water. Any ill effects?

Can crack plastic pieces. On ford explorers the rear window has a big plastic cap that would crack easily. Winter and car washes can crack them. Hot water shock would crack it for sure. I wouldn't do it...but am tempted..lol

I've tried it and didn't seem to suffer from any ill effects. However, I was amazed how quickly you can blow through a tank of hot water...

Not really cold here in Georgia. I am worries though about what some people warn me is that the Hot water could melt wax and all that hard word would be gone.

My hot water tank has tons of crud in it from our hard water. I would never use it. It is abrasive. I clean out the tank by attaching a hose and it floods the driveway with all sorts of white stuff. If you have to do it, get an sink adapter for the hose and run a hose through your kitchen. That way you get cleaner water out of the tank and can mix it with the cold tap. Most importantly, make sure the lady of the house is away from the house.
