Hi, Guys, I can get Brad Penn Dino "SUPERIOR FUEL EFFICIENT MOTOR OILS" locally from a Kendall distributor for $2.50 a quart. Now, this is not their racing oil or semi synthetic, this is just their conventional SM rated oil. I currently have a stash of Pennzoil conventional, some GTX and a few jugs of Valvoline. Is this oil comparable to these brand name dinos? Or is it of lower quality? I did go to American Refining Group's website and it seems like the 5w30 has a lower pour point then the 5/20, would that mean that 5w30 is a better option for the harsh winters we get here up north? I'm tempted to add it to my oil stash, the price isn't too bad, even though I've got brand name dino at cheaper prices then this. Please advice, thanks.
