Pushing 100K on my '07 and always used Mobil 1 5w30 but with my '13 Accord calling for 0W-20 I'd like to use the same oil for both if Nissan has back spec'ed it. Any thoughts on this?
Is 0W-20 Approved for '07 Altima 4cyl?

Im pretty sure they call for 5w30 only.
I'd stick with the 30 grade oil that you've used for 100K miles.
5w30 for Nissan.
im in the same boat, my truck uses 5w-20 and new vehicle has to have 0w-20,i would like to use one grade of oil.

Going from 5w-20 to 0w-20 isn't going to cause problems. It's going to be the same at operating temperature.

thank you miller 88, i just found another thread talking about exactly that, lots of info on here to sift through, nothing is cut and dry on this site, the more i read the more questions i have
