iOS Maintenance Logging App

I'm in the process of migrating from android to iOS. I had a really great app on android called MyCars++ that was a great app for logging maintenance. It auto-backed up to cloud storage so I never worried about losing the data. I'm in the process of trying to find something similar for iOS.

Does anyone have a good and simple app for logging maintenance/repairs that will backup to personal cloud storage and not require a user account?

Do you feel it offers enough value to justify paying $5/mo per vehicle?
I paid a one time fee of $14.99 like 7 years ago. The Pro version allows 5 cars, 2 devices, and an unlimited number of entries and 100 pictures stored. Sure, it was a deal.

Fuelly. I categorize all maintenance and type in the details in the comments in the notes section. Also have every fuel-up logged for over 10 years.

I write oil change mileage on the back of the oil filter boxtop in pencil and keep it in the vehicle. Spark plug, air filter, ATF service, etc. are also duly noted. I typically change cabin filters annually after the pollen season. What is iOS? :)

My wife made me a form on MS Word that I use to track basic maintenance . The form lives in the vehicle folder in the file cabinet . I have ZERO interest in tracking how much I paid for a windshield wiper blade or how many times I added air to my tires . To each his own ... (y)

I just use the built in notes app.

Similar to nomas I don’t save receipts though. I just record larger expenses because I don’t think I really want to know how much I’ve spent on my Samurai over the past 20 years of daily driving it.

I just use the built-in Notes app, it backs up to the cloud and shares to my Mac automatically. Example:

BMW oil change at 53,652 miles Feb 10, 2021. Oil catch rcan was empty.

BMW air filter and cabin filter Oct 10, 2021 61,000 miles

BMW oil and oil filter October 16, 2021 61,450 miles

BMW belt/tensioner/pulley May 18, 2022 65,000 miles

BMW coolant pump, thermostat, flange, coolant change May 18, 2022 65,000 miles

Empty oil catch can, May 18, 2022. About 2” of goop

Brake upgrade. New rotors, pads and calipers. Brake fluid flush. June, 2022. 70,000 miles

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions! It seems all these (other than notes, excel, word, etc.) require registration and user accounts. I'll keep on searching. I wanted to avoid using google sheets/excel just because I do all the documenting on my phone but it appears this is likely the simplest option next to an iOS version of MyCars++.

I just keep a small notebook in the car, and when I feel like it, transfer info into Excel. I figure, if I sell the car, the notebook can go to the next owner.
