I believe Ron Insana, Bill Griffith, and Sue Herrera all go back to the FNN ( Financial News Network ) days of the crash of '87 before they merged into CNBC and have been there ever since. Griffith and Herrera went to college together at Cal State Northridge. I just remember watching all of them and crying in October of '87.
SDRL leases ocean oil rig platforms, shale put pressue on prices and SDRL became unglued all the way down to here, the other bugaboo is debt, shorts bet they wouldn't make it.. could be a squeeze if their still in numbers and this one pull it out. I used to own this back in the day they paid a heavy dividend...like to see them back again.

Why do you short stocks in rip roaring uptrends???
Just wondering; you can find stocks in defined downtrends, ie under their moving averages, and wait for good entry setups.
Like that AVXS. It has found support at 100 day moving average all year and exploded higher. You shorted it at the 100 day moving average and........it exploded higher.
Not raining on your parade, just wondering what your method is???
trying to catch a top I guess, anyway, I open a position then follow-up if needed..you may have missed my recent ITIC short 24pts. in a week and out...but most are more of a struggle til unfavorable news hits.
