It's up another $400 but we have ambushers all along the way.. they bought low and everytime it goes up they hit it. The big $$$ may take a week or two... Pabby making any money?

My take.

Overnight markets drop. On open it immediately drops more. Then it creeps up through the day.

The Apollo guy said a month or so ago that in 2024- 70% of excess global savings have made it into US equities markets. I believe the foreigners are now selling and taking there money back during their market hours, then when the US opens the passive bid pushes it back up. Volume has been pretty low so the US passive bid would be enough - throw in a few wales like @Zee09 and there you go.

Depending on what happens this week I might be back to playing your game again. In the meantime I happy to hold cash for a couple days.

Well said...I like to watch it minute by minute but I have overnight orders I made to get out and later I will be gone out and I take what I can take when I can... I like the 3-4am hours and have alarms set but you are spot on.... I hate running up a good score and have it double back to nothing so why take the chance? I was down over $12k and just being free of the anxiety is good..

If a stock stinks I won't take a loss but the minute it gets over $5 to pay the regulatory fee it's gone....

I may look at PLTR again but it nerves me a bit
 
Got TSLA for 239.53 , 40 shares , couple weeks ago . And 10 options 11 months out . Will sell all if it breaks 315.00 before then âš¡

These brokers take 5 business days to clear your money and I've seen double that. If the app isn't to your liking you can't take your money out until 5 business days pass again... what a crock.

At the age of 79 its likely that the only investing other than the equivalent of a safe 4% will be be GLD/SLV which are up 18% for the year and 40+% in the last 365 days. That investment is right now 6% of my worth (excluding house/car, etc)

Yes, age old game.

I bought treasuries from Treasury direct once. On maturity They literally cleared - into my checking account - same day. Fidelity and Schwab - 3 to 5 days minimum.

So there just playing float with your money because there all on the same system.

They are making money on your money . Free trades aren't free . Catch to everything. Scottrade turned into Schwab and I can't stand the platform.

That stock i sold fell below my old buy price. I didn't get back in yet because it will tank soon

I got into an old penny stock I used to victimize....just setting a sell price and no micro managing...tomorrow is it's day
