Lower dollar is generally good for large cap equities. Good for equities because the world runs on Dollars, and cheaper dollar makes for higher global liquidity. The euro dollar market is many times bigger than the domestic dollar market.
Predicting the dollar is a fools errand in the short run. In the long run, I subscribe to the dollar milkshake theory - that the system will fail because the dollar gets too expensive, not too cheap.
