*Investors Blog*

I did buy more gas for the generator.

We were here in the 2015 "1000 year flood" or whenever that was. We were fine but all the bridges closed. Didn't affect me but shut everything down for a while.

I do have 4 Kayaks if you need one?
Yeah, a family member in Little River was here for that, water from his lake came 30% up on his property but still far from the house.
We lived in the Columbia area at the time, the water undermined a bridge right outside our community.

*LOL* Maybe they are almost off season now and can pick one up cheap or if deep enough, have the boat ready.

Wow, we dont even know how bad it is if people cant trade.
I have always felt that there should be an SEC rule that if some major platform can not trade, then no one can trade. I felt that way after Robin Hood shafted all the meme stock holders so the hedge funds could close there positions. Not that the meme stock position was good, but still was not fair.

I logged in at 7:00AM and sold a little in the pre market. It would not be the end of the world either way. Just more proof the market is manipulated and anything other than long term positions are dangerous.

Schwab is telling me my login id is invalid. I was able to get on Vanguard after an hour of trying. Vanguard has limited inventory on bonds. I've never seen that before. People must be buying them like crazy and dealers are limiting trades. I got some 3 yr Agencies. I fully expect them to be called but they'll still yield more than anything else I can get today except triple B corps. They're yielding 5.4% and that's not enough more to justify the risk in my opinion. Good Investing to ya'll.

Absolutely criminal and manipulated.

If it was one platform you could maybe accept an excuse, but all the major retail platforms are out, the market should be closed.

^^^^^^^^ The entire system is rigged. We are nothing more than pawns.

It makes a person wonder. Suppose a massive crash, say the Dow ends up at 5,000. Besides not being able to access their accounts, can a person really expect their cash or fixed return FDIC insured assets to even exist once the dust settles? I have serious doubts. But I have my paper statements filed in my desk. Yeah, right!

I was able to log on early this morning and stay on. Think or Swim is not working but I have Edge running and can place trades on Schwab.com.

I've been signed into Fidelity all day with absolutely zero issues.
About 5 minutes ago it had issues finding positions. But now it's fine. Probably system overload, everyone running to check (including me! :)).

Fidelity was working fine for me for once. Both phone and desk PC.

I just sold a small holding in LONZ in a cash account. Not going anywhere.

My overall portfolio at Fido is down 0.84%. No worries here.

My 401k went all cash friday. My sympathies for folks today here. There is a bottom somewhere but as always when/where. I was rather appalled to see how low Intel is vs other bloated shares.
