I’m not saying these markets can’t keep churning higher but I’m proceeding with caution.

This article by Ted Oakley (Oxbow Advisors) sums up how I feel about the current markets.

Déjà Vu 2000

That's interesting - Investors are more invested now than in the last 33 years . Irrational Exuberance ?
Not to say Oxbow isnt credible but I believe you would be a more successful investor if you just ignore all the articles and videos and focus on the market itself . You cant wait until everything is peachy to buy stocks ..... otherwise you'll miss the boat . Just look at all the bad news the market ignored since the bottom in November . If you would like , I'll post an easy to read chart for you . Just let me know if you are an Intermediate or Long Term Investor .

What we have now is a time to buy some bonds, or even better some bond funds -which would have been terrible 2 years back or so. Not gonna ever be perfect timing though.

I have bought these today:

AGGH
FBND
FCOR
HIGH
SPLB
Why own so many different funds . Diversify ? Doesnt buying Bonds directly , eliminate fees ?

Saw a Fintwit post indicating the Hang Seng index is back to a level it was at in 1997 - not inflation adjusted even. It bounced up and down through that point a couple times. Not sure there is any tradeable info, just found it interesting.
Funny you mention that. I didn't see your source but I did a dive into the HS woes this morning after seeing a report on TV. There is lots of issues with the HS but correspondingly, lots of potential gains to be had. Not for the faint of heart!

Strangely after 15 years of doing nothing, International could be in play again. The Nikkei 225 has quietly almost reached its all time high again ( not inflation adjusted). In dollar terms its still down. There is no way to invest in it in USD terms that I am aware, but I think you can buy ETF's in yen?

Brazil is catching a bid as well.

HSI - not sure I want to dabble in that pool, way too convoluted.
