*Investors Blog*

I am curious, even though I know this is a small group so maybe know the answer already. Does anyone here use Barchart.com ?
I just subscribed if anything to see if I get any fresh ideas out of it. The amount of information is overwhelming but haven't dug into it yet, maybe its not.

Yeah, you know, Im aware too, I know many make comments like mine but it was my intention to sell BUT my own inattention and lake of diligence let it slide, and slide, and slide... laziness? Ummm ... sort of AND preoccupied around the house the last few days until today... then checked the price and realize the mistake I am have made.

Very quickly indeed and I am very well aware of GM over the decades and really didnt plan on holding it, Im still not sure why I didnt cash out when I thought about doing it, oh well. Ohhhhh ... that's right, I got greedy and thought the climb would continue with this POS stock *LOL* Idiot!
Human nature. Is there a bit more to run?
Hours in the day. It takes time to do due diligence.
General laziness. I’ll do that tomorrow.

Everyone has BTDT on all of the above. Bummer but lessons learned.

I've used it but never subscribed to it . I guess your not gonna try Vector Vest are you .
umm ... I guess I am going to bookmark that right now... been a while guess I forgot about it since you seem to know you mentioned it to me... in-between this post I just added it to my reading list.
Look forward to any comments you have about either one, good or bad. Thanks

Strategic Petroleum Reserves is depleted and I think Saudi will do everything to screw us in the near future.

Very easy to drain SPR, very difficult to refill it.

Saudi is very happy to see our self destruction.
If you look at the numbers its absolutely staggering.

The SPR has been in the 600 to 700M barrel range for 2 decades - never outside. In January 2021 it was 638M barrels. It is now 348M barrels or a drop of half - 290M barrels. Its not been that low since 1983 - literally 40 years ago.

This works out to approximately 2M barrels per week. Total US field production is around 12M bar/wk. So they added about 20% to US production. Oil use is fairly inelastic. Wouldn't surprise me to see $4.50 national average on gas in a few months.

I am going to rebalance my oil portfolio. I need to research the drillers and service companies again. NOV, SLB, HAL etc. I have missed a pretty good run up in all of them - but it might just be getting started.

The right investment might be to round up all the old used prius's. I think I can sell 5 a year in SC without a dealer license :ROFLMAO:

I highly recommend Vector Vest End Of Day version because it gives you Buy and Sell recommendations on individual stocks every day . It's a highly advanced scanner compared to the free scanners you find on the internet . I think you'll be impressed .
Once in a while I go to Barchart.com and look through there Top 100 stocks to buy and view them at Stockcharts.com to see what looks good .

Buffet just bought three of the Homebuilder stocks . GL
I am not buying them, but it might be a decent long term bet because people with 3% mortgages aren't selling, causing a property "shortage" and at the same time the boomers in the NE who are flush with cash are retiring and fleeing to the SE for warmer climates, and their kids are following to rid themselves of the crazy policies. One he bought was DR Horton which is SE Heavy I think.

Of course as they say, timing is everything. :ROFLMAO:

Everything is going up despite the guy draining half the SPR to artificially lower inflation.

1% rich folks don’t worry about inflation.
