BOAT... = Bring On Another Thousand, BOAT.

enjoy, we had an RV (36' TT) for 8 years before I sold it and started my FFR Cobra. Trust me the RV was cheaper, but I think I'll have a lot more fun in a 427 FFR Cobra.
It's been pretty stressful with a steep learning curve and shallow water. Hopefully will enjoy it one day.

I always wanted to build up a Cobra, that would be fun but a lot of hours involved. Hope you get it up and running soon. Just don't be one of those guys who gets mad when someone asks if it's a kit car or a "real" Cobra, hah. We have this local event called Keels and Wheels. A guy with a kit car got pissed at me for asking when ironically, there was a real 289 Dragonsnake about 100' behind me.

Welcome back to the 70's everyone - where gasoline prices and inflation goes up and employment goes down. Since I was not around the first time if anyone has some pointers please share.

When I heard Qatar was shutting in there gas I woke up to the fact this isn't likely to be a week long thing. Still surprises me but I was cognizant enough to buy the VIX yesterday which is working well this AM.

Selling my small amount of FXI at open - trade that never worked. Looks like I will loose a couple percent. Probably will also sell FEZ. That one had been working OK - up 16% - but europe is hosed also IMHO.

Keeping an eye on some short term high yield and long term treasury funds, along with JPM prefererds.

Many people bought small fuel efficient foreign cars. Need a new play book I guess :)

I expected you to have a more level head frankly. It would have been dreamworld in the 1970's if we had such good numbers as now.

8.5% 1975 unemployment rate v. 4.4%. currently
11.8% 1975 Inflation rate v. 2.4% currently
And honestly I would have expected you to know, especially inflation adjusted, oil was much much more expensive in 1975.

Pointer: You missed the mark.

Every time I went to see them...my mother would send me up there...
I had to hear about her 1967' Cash Paid Plymouth Valiant.... exact phrase always

She was an Avon lady and loaded up with all kinds of lotions like @AutoMechanic

Her husband was cool and a WW1 vet....

Their house was one of those Sears kits and actually very nice with some add ons.

Robinhood is offering free checking with 3.5% interest and free wire transfers and a host of goodies free.

They have a ton of my cash and they want to do a soft credit check..lol
I don't need the services but I told my friend when the interest gets too low people will go elsewhere and they will have to create new perks to keep investors...already starting. .

They offer free tax prep now too.
