You must be very young, Alan Greenspan, father of the "irrational exuberence" mega bubble, was Fed chair as late as 2006. The subsequent Fed chairs have been trying to mop up his giagantic mess ever since.By the fed's own measures, they should cut. By the fed's own measures, they did not need to do 50BPS in November. Powell is the worst fed chair in my lifetime. Thats saying something.
None brought a mop, or the skill to use it. Only a boot to kick the can.You must be very young, Alan Greenspan, father of the "irrational exuberence" mega bubble, was Fed chair as late as 2006. The subsequent Fed chairs have been trying to mop up his giagantic mess ever since.
Yeah, Greenspans debacle will haunt Americans for 50+ years. There is no easy fix for the disaster Greenspan set in motion. None.None brought a mop, or the skill to use it. Only a boot to kick the can.
Defense spending in the EU might be a big boost to defense companies as they all start building up and strengthening their forces and arms being able to rely less on the US taxpayerWar is a profitable racket everywhere these days.
I am once bitten twice shy. My technicals still look good, not as good as last tuesday though. I was spooked by the sell off volume this AM. I might change my mind by morning.TSLA is retreating right now
I may grab some
I watched it today I think to $232.80 and didn't pull the trigger. I never go against my instinct as I get burned.I am once bitten twice shy. My technicals still look good, not as good as last tuesday though. I was spooked by the sell off volume this AM. I might change my mind by morning.
SPX technicals are turning up also, for those that like to look.
BYD claims their batteries can charge as fast as you can gas a car to go 250 miles. That remains to be seen, but my bet is it isn't helping TSLA.TSLA is taking a beating
Robinhood couldn't handle the volume and locked up at the worst time 9:30 to 9:36
Its gapping down hard on good volume. Exactly what it did yesterday morning when I got out.TSLA is taking a beating

Its not a technical issue about EV's for the stock. It was a meme stock. It was a proxy for a certain group. It was never worth 100X earnings.BYD claims their batteries can charge as fast as you can gas a car to go 250 miles. That remains to be seen, but my bet is it isn't helping TSLA.
I agree, IMO if TSLA dropped another 50% from here it would still be overpriced, but that's just me talking. When I play it I wait for a run up and buy put spreads. I recently cashed out of them, too soon, but a profit is a profit I tell myself..........Its not a technical issue about EV's for the stock. It was a meme stock. It was a proxy for a certain group. That group has turned on the stock's founder and are selling hard.
Its sort of funny when you think about it.
