War is a profitable racket everywhere these days.

Well yeah for a while at least, until it isn't. S&P 500 High div Low vol is more what I like.

The Handelsbanken A and B is more interesting case. Same stock, same dividend. A has voting right B does not.
Give that one to a market analyzer and they will scratch their head bald. Switched over from B to A at 200.

My trading buddy just called.
He just sold his one share of pltr for a profit of $8. He is killing me.
He is a dividend investor and all of his money is tied up..lol

By the fed's own measures, they should cut. By the fed's own measures, they did not need to do 50BPS in November. Powell is the worst fed chair in my lifetime. Thats saying something.
You must be very young, Alan Greenspan, father of the "irrational exuberence" mega bubble, was Fed chair as late as 2006. The subsequent Fed chairs have been trying to mop up his giagantic mess ever since.

I am once bitten twice shy. My technicals still look good, not as good as last tuesday though. I was spooked by the sell off volume this AM. I might change my mind by morning. :)

SPX technicals are turning up also, for those that like to look.
I watched it today I think to $232.80 and didn't pull the trigger. I never go against my instinct as I get burned.

Tomorrow I'll see how the vibes are.
You gotta do you right....

TSLA is taking a beating
Robinhood couldn't handle the volume and locked up at the worst time 9:30 to 9:36
Its gapping down hard on good volume. Exactly what it did yesterday morning when I got out.

My thesis was that The Europeans and Asians are selling hard. Thats why the futures always sucked. But once that slowed and the passive bid got under it, pushed it back up. It did that for several days in a row. But yesterday's selling was hard, and it didn't recover much. Looks same pattern today. 🤷‍♂️

BYD claims their batteries can charge as fast as you can gas a car to go 250 miles. That remains to be seen, but my bet is it isn't helping TSLA.
Its not a technical issue about EV's for the stock. It was a meme stock. It was a proxy for a certain group. It was never worth 100X earnings.

That group has turned on the stock's founder and are selling hard.

Its sort of funny when you think about it.

I agree, IMO if TSLA dropped another 50% from here it would still be overpriced, but that's just me talking. When I play it I wait for a run up and buy put spreads. I recently cashed out of them, too soon, but a profit is a profit I tell myself.......... ;)

The CEO, along with the BOD, owes a fiduciary duty to the shareholders, which includes duties of care, loyalty, and disclosure.
We are witnessing an epic failure.
