That's why I don't only just sit on indexes at 65. Call it market timing, but even with some chunk withdraws for capital projects - yes I am at my all time high - but sans the dippity do. Sure I have some ups and downs (Sept 22, May and Oct 23), but no large trough from 2021 to present.

Currently not sitting on a ton of straight cash. Lots of bond funds, and bond like funds. And wow PAYDAY. Still going, paying up to Mar 7 and the cycle starts again March 15.

Why am I even here? 🎯 (y)

Alot of stocks follow the direction of the Indexes but the Indexes are up over time ..... some stocks aren' t . That chart of the COMPQ I posted was down -34 % from the peak in 2022 until it bottomed in 2023 . From the bottom until now it's up 52 % . Just a little perspective .

No way am I picking for you. Hahahaha mainly because I'm an idiot don't know YOUR age to say which is best for YOU.

FGOVX is NOT a money market fund and it's the worst performer in the group.

FNBXX is a MM fund, does OK but is not an investment, just a temporary parking place.

BCOIX isn't terrible but does have layers of fees (for grunts like me to buy through Fido, I would pay a transaction fee) - perhaps your 401K waives these and at the core the fees are not crazy high. It looks interesting. Last 3 years weren't very friendly but could be OK

FAGIX - this one performs great. Expense ratio is high, but short duration and NICE yield. BEST in class, 10 years.

FXNAX - Low cost, medium performance - Kinda meh

If you was me, I would buy 50/50 for my bond fund allotment BCOIX, FAGIX. Regardless of what the rest of my portfolio is, which should be heavily stock market the younger you are.

Crazy. NVDA and AMD up so much but indices down.

Articles every few hours fueling optimism. Maybe they’re still too cheap?!?

How long will like three companies carry all the market’s rises?

I sold some today
You must of sold it all . It was down - 31.41%

China was very upset with Apple after announcing they are moving some of their manufacturing in China to India.

Soon afterwards Apple sales slowed, China not wanting government workers to use iPhones.
