Interesting looking 0w40 SP/C3 from an Indian refiner

To say "full syn base stock" is like to say nothing.
Seems the Mannol from India. May be right if price is good.

I'm not sure what is particularly interesting about it. It doesn't have those approvals, just "meets specs" which is nebulous since they are approvals.

I'd never use an oil based solely on a table of Typical Characteristics, but maybe that's just me.

This is Indian Oil (IOCL), the largest government owned refiner and operator of gas stations in India over several decades. HP, that you mentioned above, is the second or third largest.
