Look at this ebay auction for a pair of "customized" headlights. The reflectors have been painted black! Bet they put out an interesting beam pattern. LOL

Even better -- they are for an old, GM minivan! I could see this on a compact/import -- as kids spray tint on their lights all the time. The auction says it's "paint" and not spray tint. Who needs lights on a minivan?!

FWIW, this is called "JDM"ing your headlights. You bake them in the oven to soften the glue and then paint PORTIONS of the interior lense to give the headlight assembly a different look. Bake 'em again to put them back together.

This was not a successful attempt!
