Inland Northwest and SE BC heating up this week

If any of you folks down in Texas have to throw on a sweater this week, you can come up to the Inland Northwest or to SE British Columbia to warm up. Temps in the east part of Washington State and much of Idaho will hit 106 F and even across the Canadian border we’ll be hitting 100 F.

Here’s the temperature map based on an upper temperature of 120 F as well as my local forecast for Cranbrook. Enjoy!

Thankful we are having an ideal week here in MN. Mid 70's and sunny. We have really avoided any heat waves and have had an overall cooler/wetter summer.

Its already close to 40 celcius in Kelowna BC and its not even lunch time yet.

Dewpoint is not that high but its still very hot.

Correction, only 32 C in Kelowna right now. Forecast to be close to 40C.

Just checked the aviation weather. Dewpoint is climbing.
