Info on Canadian AC Delco oil filters

I sent an email to Wix enquiring about the AC Delco oil filters (since they make them for the Canadian market) and they sent me this reply, so I thought some of you would find it interesting:

In answer to your inquiry concerning the ACDelco (GM) filters made in Canada.

The filter media used in the ACDelco product is a high basis weight cellulose blend, containing percentages of micro glass and polyester fibers. This premium media is characterized as full flow, high efficiency.
This is also the same media used in the Wix, Carquest and Napa premium brand filters.
