IMHO it's a mistake! This type of bike is not what Indian's all about, it cut its teeth on the cruisers, the traditional american motorcycle, where the only competition was/is Harley Davidson.

Reminds me of the short lived 2008 Harley Davidson XR1200. Not sure if this type of sports bike will light the spark with an Indian name. Wish them luck!

I like that they're spreading out to other market segments. Gives more riders other options. Hell, it's a low cost investment for Indian to pursue..

Not sure trying to out Ducati Ducati will play well for them particularly at similar pricing.
