Impressed with Krown: 2018 Silverado 3500

I have been using Krown since I purchased my 2005 Civic in 2009. I have had an application every other year since . There is no surface rust or underbody rust

Every Fall, a few weeks before i get it sprayed with Krown, I pull the tail lights and wash between the inner and outer skins on the bed....especially focusing around the wheel wells.

Almost every GM truck rusts horribly around the wheel wells. I'm doing everything I can to prevent that from happening.

So after I power wash through the tail light openings, I give it a few days to dry and then put a split a new can of Corrosion X HD all around those wheel wheel seams.

Good report and thanks for sharing. But many people in the rust belt still believe these treatments are snake oil.

Krown works but is very thin and washes off very easily. Many old timers would drive on some dirt roads after an application to get some dirt stuck to it, which helps with wash off.

In your case the factory wax coating helps Krown stick to it and prevents it from being washed off. And yes, oil spray will help the factory coating last much longer and keeps it from drying out.
