I'm screwed!

I need three looooong wood screws, like 5 or 6 inches long. I've gone to all the local stores, searched Ebay, etc. and can't find any that long. Anyone out there seen or have such a thing I can buy? Thanks.

Columbus should have a dedicated fastener distributor. Here is an example of one I use in Michigan:

They supply the pros and can locate the screws if they exist. My example shows #10 x 6 inch deck screws.

On the web, try McMaster Carr. They have everything. Another company is Fastenall.

I buy them by the pound at the local hardware store #10 6 or 8 in long, they have a Robinson head though (square) do you have drivers for these in the U.S.?
I bought them for the wife, for some reason she said she wanted one, but never used it.

Thanks a lot! Fastenal, I never heard of them but I did a search and they just opened in the new warehouse area about 2 miles from my house. None of the local hardware/Home Depot stores had any that long but Fastenal does. Hardware stores around here are kinda on their way out and don't generally have a good selection. Cool!

Wow, I have a couple of 1/4" by 6-inch long wood screws sitting in my cellar. You just need to find a decent hardware or maybe Home Depot.

I never go to Home Depot for fasteners. I usually go to a store called Orchard's Supply Hardware, but if they don't have what I need, then there's always Frontier Fasteners.

I bought some that were made in Canada at our local building supply center. They use a T25 torx drive and came with a bit. Needed the extra long for hanging cabinets.

Nice yellow zinc chromate coating too, and not from Ch?^# like all the home depot screws.
