I'm confused, now.

Thanks for the feedback. Acutally, I'm looking for a new used car, my Mazda 323 was totaled in a car wreck so I'm in the market for a new project. Pablo, how many girls do I get, now that I've picked a good oil?

Valvoline is the choice of more top mechanics...So why are they wanting to use Mobil 1????? Duh!

GC is an inferior oil and you must dispose of it by sending it to the address I will send you in a PM. Glad we caught you before you ran too many miles with that horrible 0W30 Syntec.... I wouldn't use it in Osama's lawnmower.

Don't be confused. I'm right here in the heart of the Midwest. You know, the area totally ignored by both coasts, because we aren't cool, and have little to offer except one end of a coat hanger sticking out of the ground, and a World Series championship. It's gets cold here, below 0f in the winter, and well above 100f in the summer. I'm running the 0W30 GC in my new Envoy, much to the dismay of friends, family, and the service writer (a friend) at the local GMC dealer. "That stuff is too thin!" "Castrol doesn't really make a synthetic!" Blah, blah, blah.... Fact is Castrol 0Dub30 is great stuff. It flows just fine in the cold, and is a thick 30 when hot. I will have no issues, and I am certain of this fact, based on recommendations from here, UOA evidence, and the way the engine responds. Now the one caveat I will offer is that on the GC thread, Castrol may have recently changed the latest formula to a different blend, possibly leaving out components of the original formula that made it so great, but the jury is still out on that. Your viscosity range is fine even for sunny Cal. You can't be too thin on start up, and the GC is plenty thick when hot. Use that GC with confidence, and drive!
