The biggest complaint I hear about the Performance is the 20" wheels and rubber band tires; they are not pothole friendly.@JeffKeryk - you'll be happy to know that I'm probably going to pull the trigger on ordering a Model 3 this weekend.

Get the performance! It has some technical advantages, such as better battery cooling strategies and "track mode" that allows some great torque management. But best of all, it's faster off the line! Right where you need it.@JeffKeryk - you'll be happy to know that I'm probably going to pull the trigger on ordering a Model 3 this weekend.

I think you know those are the base 18" Aero Wheels. The alloys are 19" and $1500. The Performance model comes with the 20" Uberturbine wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S or Pirelli P Zero sticky rubber. The Performance has the bright red calipers.Pull the hubcaps off of the Performance's wheels and you have a really nice looking set!

We decided on the Performance. I'm sure we'd have been very happy with the LR, but I think we'll be thrilled with the Performance.
To make room (space and $$), we sold our 4-1/2 year old 4Runner for $900 less than we paid for it new in October 2017.![]()
2600 miles on it and so far, so good.Virginia has potholes!
