Today my 6+ month pregnant whife was out running errands and called me in a frenzy!
Her: What do i do ? i hit something on third streed, its stuck in the tire, i can hear the air hissing out.
Me: where are you at hunny ?
Her: im at the pie company, do we have a warranty on the tires?
Me: No dear, we bought the car used. Is the tire flat yet ?
Her: No but i can hear it hissing and there's no way i can change a tire this pregnant.
Me your only a few blocks from Attersons tire company, drive it over there and then take a picture and send it to me.
Her: picture taken, sending.
So i recieve a picture of my wifes tire and what looks like a guttering nail/steak sticking out of the tread.. metal is sticking out atleast 1 inch.
I txt her back: Hunny thats a easy fix, they can easily repair the tire. Remind the shop we buy our tires from them and to be nice, "dont gig us on a simple puncture repair" if they try charging you more than $40.00 call me as thats a rip off, p.s. tell them if they can plug and patch it that would be super..
Her: ok i will.
Now this shop is not known for being real fast, or real cheap. But they do stand behind there products so i have bought plenty of tires from them.
My wife txt me back within 10 minutes telling me that they had the car in, and another 15 minutes later sent me a txt telling me the car was done and the shocker, $18.00 total for the repair.
I thought i would share a positive story on BITOG. Atterson Tire in Terre Haute Indiana took very good care of my very pregnant wife, without a ripoff price and without a long wait.
