It's the greatest product that never was...
Toshiba have had small self contained 5-10MW versions for years now.
I tried to convince the powers that be at work that it was probably more reliable than having a few hundred batteries and a diesel gen for back-up if the state goes black.
Another of my suggestions goes unheeded.
Oh well, maybe when were are sold off I'll get a hearing.

Yeah, just what kind of foolproof waste management system is to be in place - not to mention the support contract that would supposably be in place for 40yrs.

Much of our existence appears to be more in terms of "virtual". Perception is everything ...but they usually prescribe psychotropic/neuroleptics for such things.
I don't believe Toshiba realizes that many Americans view shotguns as legitimate tools of scientific inquiry.
