I need an oil pan drain please

You want one like in posts 2 and 3. The spout can fit into an old oil jug for simplified transfer to recycling.

The wider spout in post 11 doesn't fit into a jug.

The open pour lips of 7 and 8 do the job but require a large funnel to assure no spills.
Unless you have 3 hands or want to fashion a safety every time you use it, this invites disaster.

the one from harbor freight is cheap and does the job.

I think if I ever need to replace mine it will have more than 8qt capacity. I do my changes on ramps but on my driveway apron so pan is at slight angle. The 6.2qts from Sonata gets very close.
My Rubbermaid pan has to be more than 30 years old. They were discontinued a long time ago.

The rubber gasket that seals that drain cap has seen better days, but otherwise, it doesn't leak when tilted to drain, isn't brittle (I've had detailing supply bottles that held more benign contents shatter -- looking at you, Meguiars), and works like it always has, despite constant oil residue because I never bother to clean the inside.

It's such a remarkably simple concept and works so well that I'm puzzled that nobody has tried to mimic it.
Except for the BITOG fan base there are just not that many doing their own oil changes anymore. Between knowledge of how to, desire to do it, having to remove all the under covers etc.

Large enough most of the time no spills
They do have a larger one also
