I need a scanner.

MTG Graphing 2500's are notorious for screen issues, Though I've used some good ones. I much prefer a backlit MT2500.

Don't count out a Solus Pro with a OBD-I cable, Might be able to get a dated version cheap?

A soulus pro would be a good one. Shouldn't it work on my 2002 gmt-800 pickup as well as my gmt-400? That would essentially kill two birds with one stone and allow me to keep my parts store innova scanner in the center console as a "loaner"

Considering the iCarsoft line. A number of positive reviews posted on YouTube, but can they be trusted? Anyone have experience in the brand?

I'll look into a solus pro. How much would I look to spend on one? Off the top of your head? I'll research myself as well.

There are so many variables, The condition of the tool, Software version, What Cables, Adapters, & Personality Keys come with it.....Some folks think just because it has Snap-on written on it's got to be worth near what it retailed for new...And for a lot of their hand tools that's true, But not for scan tools & scopes.

Lets say a for a Version 10.1 Domestic & Asian software, All the cables, adapters, keys that come in a Super Deluxe Bundle. In fair to good shape. $500 is a good price, $700 being the top end.

I have the new Topdon Phoenix lite 2. Was looking to update my old Snap on Solus but this tool was cheaper than the update and it does more. It comes as a kit that includes several obd 1 adapters.
I've only used it a couple of times so far, but from what I see, it's pretty good. I haven't tried it on any obd 1 stuff yet.
I see it on Amazon now for $730.

I've heard good things about that model Topdon. My Thinktool Pros runs similar software and also came with some OBD 1 adapters but I've not tried using it yet on OBD 1. I will have to hook it up to my 92 Cavalier at some point to see what info it will pull.
