I keep getting logged out.

It seems if I make a post and then browse other parts of the forum I find I have been logged out. Not a big deal I know but annoying all the same.
Am I missing a "keep me logged in" button or something?.

This just happened twice about 10 minutes ago. Not sure whats up, just save your password on your browser and all you have to do is click "log in" and your back in.

Happens to me all the time. Official recommendation is to clear the cache and use CCleaner, but it still happens to me. PC, MAC, and iOS...

Me too, very annoying. Just been happening in the last month or two, not in the last 7+ years. As a result I stop here less often. I don't understand why it can't be fixed.

It doesn't happen at all if I stay on the same PC, but if I move to another, then I get logged off the first PC, and so on.

Happens to me frequently if using Internet Explorer, but never happens when browsing on Google Chrome.

I use Mozilla Firefox and one computer and it never happens unless I clean out my cache. Otherwise, I stay logged in all the time.

Don't click the keep me logged in button. If I click the button I always get logged out. Pretty dumb, you would think they would have fixed this by now. I even messaged the administrator a long time ago and never got a reply back.

To really get an understanding of the need to log in every time, you'd have to know what the advertising revenue model for the forum actually is. I suspect our presence here is more valuable because we log in every time. If that's the case, then that's fine with me - it's a worthwhile inconvenience if it pays the bills for the site.

Apparently it's hard to fix or they don't want to. I complained to them about this and they told me to clear the cache, which doesn't work.

The (bad) solution is to not click "Keep me logged in".

I only very rarely have that issue with bitog. Usually if I've been away for a few days, but other than that I don't really have it happen to me.

I just now got logged out for no apparent reason whatsoever. Same PC. Odd, and after all these years, first time it happened without changing PC's.

Something is afoot.

I choose to log out after each session; obviously I have to log in each time, then. I have been logged out spontaneously on very rare occasions. That seems to only happen if I have to walk away from the computer for a significant period of time and don't do anything on the site at all (i.e. like an hour plus). But, that is extremely rare.
