i just auto-rx my trans and changed my fluid and added castrol MERCON V and i dont like the way it feels so i was wondering what type of fluid i should put back in there it is a t-45 that is in a mustang gt and would it be better to use a manual transmission fluid

You might look on the Amsoil web site and see what fluid they list for your vehicle.

How did you change the fluid? Pan drop and refill? Miles on vehicle?

hey changed the fluid by taking the drain bolt and i added fluid by useing a pump and there is around 150000 miles on the car but idk how many on the trans

Make sure your fluid level is alright. Do you know what was in the transmission prior to your drain and fill?

So you got between 1/3 and 1/2 of the fluid changed. You need to do the same thing a few more times with 15 minutes minimum of driving in between.

This is a manual trans yes? What fluid was in the trans before? Mtf can be used.

Use an MTF/MTL, synchromesh, dex/merc(not V) fluid, or a TES295/389 fluid.

I dont have a clue what was in it before and when i change the fluid it had a hole bunch of silver in it
