In the wee hours of Friday morning I was out on the highway, just driving and minding my own business and such. There was hardly a vehicle on the road except for a few 18-wheelers. Then, all of a sudden, I saw a deer on the left side of the road. All I saw was it's head and eye, didn't get a chance to see the rest of it. Within just a second of seeing the deer, BAM, I clobbered it. All I had time to do was loudly shout and slam on the brakes. I was doing 65 mph at the time and I doubt I had any time to slow down at all before I hit the deer. I didn't hit it straight on, all the damage was along the left side of the car. I really should have walked back to see if the poor ol' deer was laying on the ground or if it ran off, but I was more concerned with my car at the time. There wasn't a lot of damage thankfully, although it did totally shatter my left front fender and took out the driver's outside mirror. I just checked the car, made sure nothing was leaking or severly damaged then just drove away. I've already got the fender replaced, now I just need to find a decent, non-broken mirror. Here's some pics:
