I have an old Daisy air rifle Earliest patent date is Aug 13 1889- Jul 14 1890

latest date is OCT 1 1901. If those dates are righteous. I think there is good chance that it belonged to Wallace Crispin. He was my father's mother's youngest brother who died of Spanish flu in 1918. It doesn't have the cocking lever like a Red Ryder. It breaks like a single barrel shot gun to cock. Needs seals but is intact otherwise.I'm looking for a Daisy forum to help me rebuild it TIA

I went through the Daisy BB gun museum a few years ago and my brother and I both purchased new air rifles there. I love BB guns and you should post a picture of yours and have it restored. A before and after picture.

You can buy a $40 new one that shoots better so no need to rebuild it.
I have a 17th century 10 mm French airgun and the beauty is, it just still exists.

Just to clarify, those patent dates don't necessarily mean the rifle was produced during that time window, only that it was produced sometime after.

Thanks! You nailed it. The artwork of the original "Daisy" and the history matches what I have. An original, Hoo boy! The museum is in Arkansas, I wonder if I could swap them straight up for a old Ranger 4x4 extended cab pick up?
