Took it to work this morning, I feel like I unlocked some kind of cheat code. infotainment showed 36mpg. I doubt that is completely accurate, but surprising.
Is that Lapis Blue? In the last photo it looks almost purple but that might also be a white balance thing.
I have a '21 and yes the MPG gauge seems a little optimistic. I should do the math sometime to be sure.
STI owners are going to razz on you for having the STI wing, but if I remember right, that wing could be had on regular WRXs as well. I might have that backward however because the STI was also available without the wing.
Sounds like someone blew up their pride and joy already.Yea I think it was added at one point. It was someone's pride and joy at one time.

Can't believe no one's asked the real important question yet:
What oil are you running in it? What filter?? What OCI???

I always had guys wanting to race my Mazdaspeed3. With the Mazdaspeed CAI and a mild tune it made close to 300 hp so I surprised a few people- when my wife wasn't in the car. One time a Dodge Stealth R/T kept pacing me wanting a roll race; my wife was on board so I was ignoring him. My 14 year old son in the back seat says, "Dad, he's not that fast- you can take him!"Yea I think it was added at one point. It was someone's pride and joy at one time.
First drive I had an older Evo try and pace me. Like my dude, I'm just cruising.
Sharp looking car - but, not sure about the SuperBird spoiler …So because I like the abuse, I was wanting something a little fun. Found this '19 WRX local and it wasn't in too bad of shape. Decent price and the engine and turbo was replaced last year at 88K. Currently at 94K. Is it the wisest thing I've ever done? Heck no. Is it the dumbest? Probably.
Anyways...

No mods planned, or ever really planned. Keep it stock, keep the oil changed, and don't abuse it. It's slow anyways and I'm pretty sure the Tacoma will out run it![]()

Always liked these, congrats! What are the fins on the back edge of the roof for?
Also, we need to discuss the 30’ of black pipe running across the front walk.
lol I had the 2004 WRX wagon for 7 years and same comments/opinion. Nothing changed !I bought the last hatch 2014 WRX. It was fun to drive, especially snow and ice. Not as fast as people think and the 5 speed then was absolute garbage and it was a tinny beast
