I Had a Mid, Mid Life Crisis

So because I like the abuse, I was wanting something a little fun. Found this '19 WRX local and it wasn't in too bad of shape. Decent price and the engine and turbo was replaced last year at 88K. Currently at 94K. Is it the wisest thing I've ever done? Heck no. Is it the dumbest? Probably.

Anyways...

No mods planned, or ever really planned. Keep it stock, keep the oil changed, and don't abuse it. It's slow anyways and I'm pretty sure the Tacoma will out run it

Congratulations! Looks like fun.

This might also be a good vehicle to take camping. You can easily sit two or three people on the trunk and use the wing as a table. Enjoy!

It's slower than I thought it would be, but on the way home it was fun to rip around the mountain. Now that I've gotten older I don't need to really drive fast or abuse stuff like that. It has some pep, but it's more of a run to work kind of car. Also taking it easy as they filled it up with I assume regular.

I bought the last hatch 2014 WRX. It was fun to drive, especially snow and ice. Not as fast as people think and the 5 speed then was absolute garbage and it was a tinny beast

Sweet buy. You could have done worse. I occasionally browse Copart and think what fun it would be to rebuild a wrecked Lamborghini or Ferrari, but the costs usually are way higher than expected.
