I buy Bosch filters because they're cheaper than Purolator.
This is just a usual CEO trick: buy Purolator, make a ton of profit, then sell Purolator, make another ton of profit, and so the cycle continues. The CEO's get together every now and then, and decide who gets to sell Purolator next, depending on who has bigger alimony payments, or whoever needs a new corporate jet, billion dollar estate, or three hundred foot yacht. sometimes the matter is decided by a poker game.
The stupid people: consumers, who get hosed every time.

I had never heard of Mann+Hummel, until I was examining an oil filter for my Astra purchased at the Saturn dealer. Mfd by Mann+Hummel Germany.
