I can't catch a break - Medical complications.

Get comfortable on the couch and binge watch three seasons of Dr. Pimple Popper. 🍿🍨 🙃
Lol my doctor told me to do that. I was like no thanks doc, I wanna keep my meals inside of my stomach.

In other news, my boss won't allow me to come back to work with the wound vac. Says it's a liability and god forbid I get snagged on something I'll end up bleeding all over the floor and then he'll have to call 911 and the company will have to clean up bodily fluids. He says unless they release me with no modifications or light duty requirements I'm considered on medical leave.

I'm all for it. Give me all the relaxation time in the world and I'll come back and then leave again for an umbilical hernia operation and be out another couple of weeks.

Thirty years ago, I had a cyst in my buttock removed. I'd had it for some years but decided to get it removed when sitting down became uncomfortable. Apparently some part of the sac got left behind, and grew back. A second surgery months later got it all out. An inconvenience at best, but was I glad it was gone for good.

I pray the whole sac is gone after the hole I've got in my back.

There are (relatively) cheap little ultrasound machines now that can see in great detail what lies below the skin. They may have used one of those during surgery to make sure it was all out.
