Hyundai Venue.. any known issues?

Same engine and trans as our accents. The most efficient engine I've had in a vehicle. Power is completely adequate to me. I never feel like the Accent is too slow. Easy oil changes.

These engines came out in 2020 I believe so not a lot of info on longevity.

In my opinion it is underpowered to the point of being unsafe.

I drove my rental in the DFW area and had no trouble keeping up with traffic. 121hp is pretty good for a car that weighs less than 3,000 lbs. That's what my Trooper is working with at 4,500+lbs. I suspect it'd be much better with a manual but they are very difficult to find.

IMO the Venue is a small car like small cars used to be.

They are pretty solid with the 1.6…..keep the fluids up along with the CVT and it will go for quite a while….
