Hyundai premium transmission fluid exchange

Is this like a flush or more like a drain and fill? I’ve got a 2016 Genesis, about to hit 60k miles, looking to do a transmission service. I don’t want to risk doing a flush.

If it’s more like a drain and fill, I’d rather take it to an independent shop and have them do it. I even have about 6 quarts of OEM transmission fluid sitting around.

Exchange usually means flushing machine. I'd only do a drain and fill.

A fluid exchange ties into the ATF cooler supply and return line. You idle the engine and let the transmission's own pump, pump the old fluid out, while new fluid is replaced through the return line at the exact volume the old stuff is pumping out. There's no flushing going on.

it takes SEVERAL spill + fills, while a machine changes ALL of it!!
