Leaking hydraulic steering cylinder for tractor

I bought a steering cylinder from Amazon for my tractor. The shaft of the cylinder threads into a bracket attached to the front axle. The shaft is stationary and the cylinder is attached to the tie rods going to the front wheels. The only problem I have is that the end of the shaft with threads must be slightly undersized. I can't get it to stop leaking. I have tried several o-rings, Victor Reinz Reinzosil, hard-setting gasket maker, and nothing has lasted.

Is there a tape similar to plumbing Teflon tape made for hydraulics?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What is the type of connection that is leaking (flare, pipe thread, oring face seal)?

I would say o-ring face seal. The shaft has external threads. The part I replaced had an o-ring that was pinched between the shaft where it necks larger, and the bracket the shaft threads into.

Interesting, it looks like the fluid actually runs through the clevis. The leak is between the clevis and the rod end? Maybe it is similar to a ORB setup.

Yes. I don't know what an ORB is. I can actually see an o-ring between the clevis and the shaft in the video.

Here is a diagram of a non adjustable orb connection. Sometimes there is a backup washer that forces the oring into the chamfer, that is typically on adjustable fittings.

When its assembled i dont think you should be able to see the oring. I think it is a reflection in the video.

In this Parker document there is a picture of a "bonded seal". My suggestion would be to source one and try it.
