I bought an old 72 Biscayne just for the drivetrain (400 SB, Turbo 400, paid $200). When I had my 69 F100 Ranger I installed a HAYS clutch in it. It came with a very nice, large decal (about 12"X 2.5"). I put it on the Biscayne's back window. Man, I received so much ribbing about that decal and how it shouldn't be on my Biscayne because it had an auto trans.If it actually had a K&N.. -20HP due to not being the optimal OE design
On my Isuzu pickup with a SOHC, I put (I think) Crane Cam’s sticker on one fender, someone else on the other fender and Edelbrock on the rear window. Only one person ever noticed that, wondering if I was running a DOHC. [Truck was 100% stock and driven by a poor teenager, all in fun of course. All rusty, I had it a couple years before it went off to the junkyard—perfect fodder for sticker horsepower.]
