Some minor and ongoing testing reveals it burns clean , clean clean

About a year ago I had a GM car that the solenoid for the overdrive was locked . Poured some 131 in and it fixed it too . I have never drained it out .

Works good for a gentle purge about 500 miles before oil change like recommended on the label . I have ran it the entire interval in one old V8 .

It does so many things and is low cost .

Are there some more of you members using this stuff ? Step in and tell your experiences

It sure fixed mine at least ! That buddy was locked in OD just like a std trans w/o a working clutch

I really miss having Bob around, advancing the cause of Neutra. Somehow I felt we had never fully learned it's potential. Neutra's presence on this board vanished immediately with Bob.

Bike, somewhere along the line did you mention neutra stopping oil leaks?
Toomany "I really miss having Bob around, advancing the cause of Neutra. Somehow I felt we had never fully learned it's potential. Neutra's presence on this board vanished immediately with Bob. " And a lot more, Bob is the reason for Schaeffer's on this board and alot of the education.
But I'm trying boys. I have tried to offer neutra by the gallon in the past with no takers. As with all Schaeffer's products it is very tough to beat.

Still use it at the end of an interval as you mentioned Dragboat, oops, I mean Motorbike. Sometimes also pour a bottle in the tank too. I like its versatility.

I use it consistently in two cars in the fuel and in my lawn equipment every tank. I also use it as a quick cleaning on an engine from 50-several hundred miles.

What's in Nuetra 131 that enables it to do all this marvelous stuff? (Motorbike should be able to answer this since he takes to MSDSs like a born again Christian takes to the bible)

My question is whether Neutra can be used similar to LC in maint. doses in the crankcase during the oil interval to keep the engine clean, slow the breakdown of the oil to extend the oci. I have used Neutra as a crankcase purge in the past and have used it in fuel with good results.

An ounce per quart in any oil system...engine, transmission, etc. for about 400-500 miles slowly, gently, completely cleans the system--the Neutra Purge. Schaeffer recommends that if oil consumption due to changing the type of oil is a problem, after the Neutra purge, add Neutra again and leave it in for the full oil drain interval.

An ounce per gallon in fuel cleans the fuel system, stabilizes the fuel in storage, and provides more power and more fuel economy. After the fuel system is clean the proportion can be reduced.

It sounds too good to be true, but the price is right so give it a try. I use it and like it.
