HPL PCMO 5w30 - Subaru Outback 3.6r using oil

I wouldn’t think so but who knows. This was the 6th total oil change, the previous 5 were hpl or torco changed every 5k. It was a hard run in hot temps through the mountains and back doing 80. Or, maybe it wasn’t completely topped off lol. All I know is when I got back it was below the full line the next day. Or maybe redline just burns.
Should be pretty clean. You ran Maxlife before those runs right? I don't think Red Line is known for burning. It has a very low Noack, too.

You’re thinking of my 18 rogue, which uses not a drop @125k. This is the wife’s 24 Altima with 27k or so. I did an early oil change @1k, then again @5k using hpl. The next few changes were torco and hpl every 5k. I used redline @25k and actually plan on running this the full OLM which would put my next change around 8-10k miles, then redline for the foreseeable future since I have two cases of it. The dipstick is hinky on this thing and is hard to get a true accurate reading. If it did burn a little, it wasn’t more than a few ounces.
