Still waiting for my filter adapter and thread adapter for my Luberfiner XL.

I got the Luberfiners for less than 5 bucks each, Here's what I got back from Champlabs when I ask for it's efficiency.

Quote:
The LFP780XL is a 5 micron @ 50% and a 20 micron @ 98.67%

This is my Bypass system set up. I am using a Full flow Luberfiner imperial XL full sythetic media filter. With a Fleetguard LF3947 (stratopore) Filters cost me $15 bucks a set, already had a bunch of LF3487 but decided to go with the Stratapore instead. Probably use them for remote tranny filters.

It's going on my Nissan Elgrand, it's overseas. It's a 3.2 liter turbo diesel. Last dynoed it at 170hp and 450lbs TQ at the wheels, it's alcohol injected and LPG fumigated. Pretty quick for a 4000lbs van. Made 120hp and 322lbs stock.

Plenty of room under the hood since chucking the stock air box. Also added a oil catch can to help keep things even cleaner.

Think I have enough filter to cover me for over 100000 miles.

Got it pretty much put together, I am going to go with 1/2 hydraulic hose vs the push lock just because it looks better, and I can get it cheap surplus.

Added a few hard drive magnets for giggles. The second thing is my remote transmission filter. Thanks to shopping around and finding deals think I paid under 100 bucks for all my hardware. Even wound up with 4 extra universal spin on adapters from perma-cool.

I added grip tap for easy removal of the filters as well.

Not a true bypass because I do not have a restrictor in my system. But I think it will do a pretty dang good job at keeping my oil good to past 12000 to 15000 miles between oil changes.

The old Devil likes his oil filters what can I say. Probably got about 700 at the house. I'm a bit of a filter and oil hoarder but hey, I'm taking them with me next year to the Philippines.

Oh I got plenty, Military retirement, whatever VA disability I get, plus my company. Living like a king. You can actually do pretty good on about 1500usd a month income if your careful.

As far as filters for the meth, the tank taps are filtered and the nozzles have a filter. You don't want restriction in the system. Not to mention no filter media would handle the methanol.
