How to test for router issues?

Is it correct to assume the log and the uptime is always less than an hour? Seems like it renews the IP lease each hour... though it also seems to say that the IP lease if good for longer...

Went back and looked at the logs - removed some of the dhcp connections to mac addresses just for brevity...

So the internet disconnected (not sure why), at 1509 (we were streaming a movie and we sure didnt notice it), and interestingly it had a DoD attack, which I hadnt seen before in the log...

I wonder if it is worth it to try to diagnose the FiOS ONT? Thing is, the only machine I have that has an ethernet port is my ~2008 MBP, which runs great, and also runs Windows 7 FWIW.... No newer machine of ours has an ethernet jack!

Or maybe buy an Asus AX capable router and start fresh!

[Internet connected] in the logs is likely the DHCP lease renew.

The uptime figure should constantly accumulate, it should only reset if you actually experience a loss of service, otherwise the figure becomes entirely useless.
